Renewing Provisional Licence

Please can somebody help me?

I got my Provisional Licence in 2004 (forced into it by an older sister), but then never even had a driving lesson due to fear of killing someone!

I'm a lot older now and really feel restricted (jobs) and so I have decided to learn to drive.

Sadly, my Provisional expired last October so I need to renew it before I can get lessons. I was sent a DVLA D798W form in the post, but it doesn't mention "provisional" anywhere on there. Before I fill it out and take a long bus journey to the Post Office tomorrow - is this the right form for me? Or do I need a different one? Do the DVLA just assume I already have a Driving Licence (to be renewed after 10 years) or do they know I'm still needing a Provisional one? So confused!

Its only the photo that needs renewing.

Form we used was just a D1. Select update photo.

New provisional arrived 2 weeks later.
