Default dilemma

I have come into some money and am
Fortunate to be in a position to clear my debts!

I have several defaults but I have 2 defaults that are due to drop off my file in May. Should I pay these in full or just wait for them to drop off?

The ultimate plan is to get a mortgage in a few years time so I need my score to improve but if they are about to drop off,the money I could spend clearing them could go into my deposit fund!

Any advice would be great!

Just because the default drops off that does not mean you could not say be taken to court for what is left unpaid.

You would really need to decide how likely you think that is given the details of the debt. If not acknowlened or paid in 6 years they could be statute barred for example.
