Can you use Wood glue (white Adhesive) to stick Cardboard to cardboard?

Can wood adhesive, like the one below

be used for sticking cardboard to cardboard? (not too thick cardboard, but medium thickness)?




Should it work fine?

It's basically pva, so it should work. Expensive way of doing it though.
