Sale item..damaged

Options
Daughter bought a crib on Saturday it was in a box when she got home it was damaged on 2 corners. This shop was having a sale of all baby items as they are closing that area of the shop when she phoned they say nothing can be done no refund, no credit. Can anyone help me on the legal end of things where this is concerned. Thank you.

  • Unless it was explicitly sold as damaged/ seconds, which I'd be highly surprised for an item for a baby, then the SOGA allow you to reject the goods as faulty for a full refund.
