The best travel system I bought was a cheap mothercare one, it cost £130 and came with lie-flat buggy, car seat, car seat base (like isofix bases, but we didn't have to pay £100+ for the privilege!), raincover, footmuff, and change bag. It folded up easily, didn't take up much space, and the car seat went from car to pram without costly or fiddly adapters. The only downside was that it wasn't very fancy and I got bored of it, but it was really far better than anything I've had since.

If I had to buy again I'd go for the O'Baby Monty pushchair pack (similar to above, but doesn't come with car seat base), or the Mothercare Expedior system.

I know that the money you have to spend on something is dependant on income, but I could never justify spending £400-£500 on a pram set

It should definitely fit. If it's something you would be interested in you can contact securatot and they will confirm. X
