Customers could claim compo from price comparison websites if 'best deal' promise was broken
seen this in daily mail..
I thought martin would be going mental about this..:money::money:
but nought?
im changing soon my house insurance and car soon
I need help about choosing the cheapest (real):)

Real?
Start with comparison sites and then shop around. Don't expect from someone to do all the legwork for you for free.

For me it's always some insurer from those offering the highest £ cashback via TCB/Quidco. If you go via a comparison site they will pocket this cashback (=commission) instead of you.

As simle as that.

Some people asked him about it on Twitter yesterday, he got very defensive and said MSE were one of the good guys (or something along those lines). They've now updated the site to say how much commission they get from each of the thousands of switches that go through this site.

I wouldn't rely on anything on this site without checking it out independently - it's not about money saving any longer, but profit making

Why should Martin worry so much? He sold MSE about 3yrs ago.
