Hi all
I'm an accountant, so all my work is in Excel spreadsheets. I don't usually use passwords but for some reason, last time I did these particular accounts I decided to password protect it. Today I come to do the latest accounts and guess what? I forgot the password DOH!
I've tried all my usual variations but I must have been especially creative when making this one up!
Is there ANY way I can get around the password to open my files?

If there was a way to circumvent the password, wouldn't that make the point of passwording the files pointless?0

See if this will work

Are you sure this isn't just a wind-up?
You're an accountant, whose whole life revolves around being careful with monetary calculations, and you forget a password which you set up?
It's scarcely credible...0 -
Sounds like a wind up to me too, but if it's not then you need to tell us which version of Excel you're using.0

No accountants worth their fee would have all their work in a spreadsheet/s.0
