  • That was the companies online terms and conditions.

    At the moment skating is costing about £45 per week, so It makes financialsense to go with the contract, but it's just the few points highlighted thatmake me uncomfortable.

    As long as you're not nervous about arguing the toss with them, you can cancel at any time and the law is on your side as long as you sign up online. However, if it's only the parts you highlighted that concern you:

    Payment amount - if it's Direct Debit then they are required to give you 10 working days notice before a change. If they don't, your bank are required to refund you immediately.

    Changing the agreement - while fairly standard, they still require your agreement to continue the contract under the new terms. They don't explicitly give you the right to cancel, but by not including your cancellation rights on their website, the CCR does that for you anyway, so you can just cancel your contract if you don't like any new terms.
