Capital One

I recently read an article on here about credit cards for people wioth bad credit, and based on the assesment tool, I made an application for the Capital One credit card. At the end of the application, I was shown a message stating that I had been accepted, but I havent received a confirmation email or any sort of correspondence since that day.

Has anyone else had the same experience?
Any advice?

Thank you

  • When was it? I'm sure I recieved my first letter pretty quickly, a week later maybe? If you ring them, they will find your details on their system.

I recieved an email from them asking for me to sign up to their online services before I recieved anything through the post, come to think of it I didn't receive a welcome letter, just the PIN first then the card. Took a week to receive the email them a further week for card and PIN.

Congrats and good luck :) They've been really good to me, 6 months after an opening I got a credit limit increase and then moved on to a prime-card.
  • How long did you have to wait for the email from being told you were accepted?

About a week, but if you use the telephone (revolutionary communication device nearly everyone has) you could find out a little bit quicker.

Yes I do have that revolutionary device known as a phone so I might phone them when I have more time.

Lol, they are quiet nice people so you should find out straight away :) Good luck
  • The first actual notification I had been accepted was receiving my card in the post a week or so later.

I didn't receive an email stating my application had been accepted.

    Good luck.
