Santander 123 interest

Have Santander changed their policy of paying interest at the end of an account month to paying interest at the start of a calendar month? I've been credited with interest dated 02/02/15 when I also received interest on 24/01/15 (i.e. end of account month as normal).

Have you been made "Select"? They changed my statement month start date to the day they "selected" me.

I haven't received any interest on any on my 123s today, so there hasn't been any general change. More importantly, there hasn't been a change to T&Cs.

Forgot to mention - the date they credit my DD cashbacks and debit the monthly fee remained unchanged. It's just the date they credit interest that changed.

Weird. But still ends up with the same amount of money bottom line so I won't complain.

The adviser on the phone told me that my statement month would change. However, i didn't think to ask to what, will find out in the fullness of time I suppose.
