Please help!
Have had a bit of a mix up with priceline booking a trip to Berlin- thank god they refunded us for two nights of our stay but have given us 30 quid off! So only lost 20 quid really!
So if we book through them again we get 30 quid off-however I only want a 4 or 5* hotel in central Berlin with good reviews. Our budget is 240 for 3 nights. We leave TOMORROW 4th Feb-7th Feb. We have flights booked already so just the hotel.
Can anyone offer any help with getting the best deal? I would think being last minute there may be some good ones about?
Could also use other sites but need to factor in a 57 quid loss?

But you got the 3* accidentally last night?
Are all the other 4/5 *s taken or out of your budget?0 -
I mean on other sites...not through priceline. For example Circus hotel is supposed to be great but 3*. They don't appear to have any rooms left though!
Our budget is 240 for 3 nights leaving tomorrow and coming back Saturday. We don't have to use priceline but they've offered 30 quid off if we book through them again.
I just want to get the best deal we can and I'm needing help with that.
If I'm to use the bidding tool on priceline again I would like a bit of advice so no mistakes are made. I know some people can work out what they could possibly get with priceline? I'm not internet savvy and I just need some help!0 -
Try airbnb for an apartment? Not as last minute as you but I found somewhere in Amsterdam 2 days before I went.0

If you're on-line I can give you some pointers :cool:0 -
I am currently in Berlin, there is a huge fresh produce show on at the moment with world visitors in the region of 60,000 attending of which a huge percentage will be either had booked or looking for accommodation so not so many deals this particular week.

Betterbidding and Bidding For Travel are the best guides for Priceline and Hotwire. They have good (although not completely comprehensive!) hotel lists so you can get a good idea of what you're doing. I quite like Priceline Express, even to use as a guide for bidding as 'name your own price'. It sort of gives you clues to what's available on those days.
