no cursor

A friend has asked me to help sort out her laptop. she let her granddaughter on it yesterday (silly I know ) and now she has a black and white screen and no cursor. I know she can prob do a system restore BUT how can she do this without the use of the cursor. could anybody help please.

    Press the Windows key (the key with the Windows 'flag' on it), then the R key. In the Run Open box type:

    %systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

    and press return.

    Now navigate through System Restore using the keyboard: press Tab (or Shift+Tab) to move the focus indicator; arrow keys to change selection; and Return to 'click' the current focus.
