                    Hi all,
Was after some parts for my car and saw what I needed as part of a job lot on ebay. Didn't want it all so asked seller if he would be willing to split it, he said no initially but then he got back in contact and agreed. So in my excitement, been after these parts for a while, I did a transfer of the cash to his girlfriends account and waited.
Been over a week now and no response to my emails asking where the items are. He's still got stuff for sale on ebay. Have got his name and address, but it's a 4 hour drive and a ferry trip stopping me from knocking on his door! It's not a large amount of money lost, but any advice on what I could do or should I just put it down to a lesson learnt!
Thanks, very silly V!

You could take action in the small claims court - would cost about £30. Depends on how much you've lost if it is worth it.0

As an off eBay sale your options are limited. If you have a contact number (or can get one from the address you have) I would call that first.
There may be a reasonable excuse for non response as if he is still selling on eBay (and have positive feedback) they are less likely to have done a runner. A call or a further email indicating 'letter before action' to indicate that you will take things further if no response is received would be my advice.0
