First day of snow here on the south west London/Surrey borders but still managed to get to work on time :)

Bought pitta bread this morning to go with leftover houmous from last week but will freeze all I don't eat today.

Dinner tonight will be creamy chicken pie which is currently half price at Mr T with some YS rumpledethumps (??! that's potato and other root veg to you and me!) that's been lurking in the freezer for a while.
DS's suit(s) arrived today so will have a big trying on session tonight and return whichever doesn't fit tomorrow lunchtime.

Off to check freelance website for possible work for my half term week off though a week off would be soooo lovely right now.
    Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

    December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.10
  • Good Afternoon!

Have just got up to find all the snow from this morning has disappeared :( I was hoping to get the chance to build a snowman today. It's been a few years since we had any of the white stuff in these parts.

Yesterday was a total fail for me. Faulty TV aerial :( We got a man to have a look and he replaced it for us. We had to call on our Xmas Fund and 2nd Purse to pay for it :( No big deal in the long run, I can make it up in the next month or so, it just sets me back to the beginning of the year.

    My temperate Tuesday...

FvD- your son will look great I'm sure. Glad to hear he has his own fashion sense going on. So many one direction wannabees

Today I had some sort of second wind and managed to hoover the whole house including the conservatory which was full of cobwebs.
I also got rid of a whole bag of cheap nasty plastic toys that had snuck up on us some how. I'm talking Mcds freebies mainly. We only go once in a while so it's shocking to see it all.
Tidied the lovely wicker hamper toy basket too, it's full of dressing up kit. Thinking I may relocate it to hangers in son's wardrobe then I could hide away a lot more of the garish stacker boxes in there.
Found 2p roadkill. Popped into the library and paid off 20p of a 70p fine using all the pennies I've found this week.
Cut up a pair of husbands old jogging bottoms into rags. They have the sort of fleece lining that will be good for window cleaning.
Have written my shopping list for tommorow & tidied the fridge to make sure old stuff gets used first.

Ziggy - What are you baking today?

Didn't bother, we have plenty of "stuff" in cupboards and I was just going to bake to pass some time on, so spent the time watching catch up tv (A Touch of Frost)
