cat ran into the CD-rom, how much will that cost to replair?

hello all

was going to burn a cd this evening, as i was just about to load the cd into the PC, the cat got startled and ran into the cd-rom, causing damage, i assume this can be damaged, anyone know how much we are talking about?
Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!

    A vet will give you a good idea of what the damage will cost.

    I'll damage further for you if you like. A one off fee of £50 plus travelling costs. I'll be 15 mins, max.
    I can also damage other items, soft furnishings , textiles etc if required.

    If its a PC CD then opening the cd box may allow you to realign the tray .

    Even if Tiddles has left a limb in the drive, you can get a USB CD/DVD gizmo with change from £20. It's a bit more fuss, but a bit more startled-cat 'proof'.

    I'd also suggest an external CD/DVD drive, not expensive, much simpler than fitting your own or cheaper than getting someone to fit one.
