Multiple Balance Transfers?

Hello!

Wondering if somebody could help me...

I've just taken on a new 0% Balance Transfer with Barclaycard over 35 months, consolidating the card each my fianc!e and I have which run out of their interest-free periods shortly.

This is great for us as it gives us flexibility with our wedding in July later this year. It gives us ample time to comfortably pay the facility off in its entirety without incurring any additional interest repayments.

I can comfortably accommodate the minimum monthly repayment, but the question I have is whether I can do multiple balance transfers off the same card witin the 35 month period? So add to my old card, balance transfer to my new Barclaycard, and then do it again?

I'm aware I will incur a small balance transfer fee, but given my new card has a much greater limit vs my existing, I want to make the most of the 0% balance transfer facility and credit limit.

Thanks in advance!
Adam

The transfer offer is usually available to use for a limited time, you can send Barclays an online message or call to ask when the offer will expire.

That's not to say you won't get more offers down the line.

You will get a period of 60-90 days to do all your BT that will run until the end of the 35 months - any transfers after that will not be in that offer.

I get mail and email every month from Barclaycard offering further 6 month 0% transfer offers but that would mean ensuring the balance of that later transfer was cleared in 6 months or it would start earning interest.

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
