For a first degree (BA, BS): establish residence in a US state so that you are eligible for their system of student loans, or be absolutely brilliant so that you have a chance for one of the scholarships offered by an elite institution.

This is what my son did as he is studying in US. He was offered a scholarship.
What are you studying and is there a chance of you being offered a scholarship?
  • My country helped me when I studied in USA. But It all depends what your nationality or residency is.

As already stated, scholarship,is the only affordable way. Other than that, there are some UK university courses that include a year studying in US
  • OP has visited the Forum since posting the question but hasn't bothered responding. I think it's a waste of time contributing to this thread any more.
