Recommend a Villa holiday in Europe

Hi folks,

I travel a lot with work, but my poor family are a bit neglected as I havent taken them on holiday for a while now in fact my kids (8and 5) have never been abroad.

I want us to go on holiday this summer - in the summer holidays (scottish term times Mid Jun - August)

The kind of holiday my wife and i want is a private villa with private pool - doesnt have to be flash but a nice terrace area would be a plus.

I would be hiring a car so doesnt have to be walking distance from a town or beach - but no ore than a 20 min or so drive from the beach.

We would like a place that is kind of quiet ish where the kids can play on the beach etc and swim in the pool at the villa - we would self cater or eat at restuarants at night and drive back to the villa (we dont drink)

So what im after is recommendations really - id like clean beaches with clear water.

I was thinking Greece or the Spanish islands.

So im really after recommendations

Look at going in June and flying from an English airport if it's not too much kerfuffle.

http://www.costabravaconnections.com have a good selection too around Begur which is a beautiful and quite upmarket area of north east Spain. We have used them and been impressed

Owners direct and trip advisor are both good. We have used both for trips to the south of France.
