UKPC - appeal rejected. What next?

Hi all - thanks in advance for any advice.
My Dad parked in a disabled bay. He was displaying a blue badge, but in error he put it on the dashboard the wrong side up. I advised him not to pay, and have followed the advice on the Newbie thread - a copy of the appeal letter was emailed through the UKPC appeal form, including some additional appeal around the BPA code of conduct re. not issuing blue bade holders with a ticket.
A letter came through today rejecting the appeal. I suspect it's a standard letter written in response to the appeal template that people are using, as it doesn't address the points I raised around the blue badge/BPA code of conduct/DDA.
They've very 'kindly' offered to reduce the fine to £50, or advise us to appeal to POPLA.
What should I do? They didn't actually respond in full to my original appeal, so I don't know if there's something to be made of that?
I'd really appreciate any advice.
Thanks

1. Have you read the NEWBIES sticky thread?
2. Did you get a POPLA code?0 -
You keep following the advice in the Newbies Sticky - Go to the "How to win at POPLA" post and take it from there.0

So use the POPLA code that UKPC have provided to get the charge cancelled, UKPC are particularly easy to beat at POPLA, follow the advice in the Newbies thread, post your appeal here for approval before you submit, no reason why this can't be a slam dunk win.All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. And while you're at it, why not complain to the BPA Ltd that UKPC have breached clause 16.5 of the Code of Practice and you want them to take action.
Make sure you do the POPLA appeal first though, that's your #1 priority now.Je Suis Cecil.0
