Have you tried going to a comparison website that allows you to enter your details and then will give you an outcome with companies more or less likely to approve you for a credit card?

Just a thought and it may help.

I have seen many people with Barclaycards who were not born in the UK, I don't know if they were British citizens.

Don't forget to apply via cashback sites if appropriate.
  • Try the Barclaycard online eligibility checker. This will give you a good indication of whether they will accept you.

Or have you tried speaking to your current bank?

Try the Barclaycard online eligibility checker.

noddle.co.uk will check your eligibility across a whole range of cards.

I think you might have to register to see this option but there is no need to pay Noddle any money, ever. Pretty much everybody should have free Noddle account anyway as it helps you with knowing what's on some of your credit files.

You may be better off using the MSE credit card eligibility checker on this site than Noddle. Noddle will only score on the information it holds through Callcredit.

For me personally I have found it very inaccurate as Callcredit do not hold anywhere near as much information as the other two credit reference agencies so gives me an inaccurate representation of what I may be accepted for.
