Concerns re proposed Flickr account

I am tempted to open a Flickr account to store all my on-line photo's, but have a few questions/concerns, (in no particular order):-

*When I look at Flickr website, there are hundreds of photo's for me to view, I don't want mine to be visible/accessible by anyone as they are mostly family/private etc, holiday stuff.

*When I receive a photo from family in an email, I'd like to be able to rt click it and send it to my Flickr account, could this be done?

* Ideally I would want to go to Flickr and enter a secure password to get to my photo's

Comments please, oh, it has to be free.

PS, first problem. I google a question and found the first on the list to rubbish flickr

Then publishing them on the internet is not for you?

As regard email and links. SiL sends links of her photos via email, and hey presto, you see them. problem is she thinks no one will pass on the email!

You can set photos you have uploaded to be private so only you can see them if you wish to. You can do this during the upload process or afterwards.

No you can't do this. You have to save the photo to your computer and then upload it.

You have to login to Flickr to access your account using a password of your choice.
