TSB haven't paid me interest

Correct - those terms do state calendar month as I say. HOWEVER in practice, it doesn't work that way - the system will not credit the monthly £5 if the conditions have been met outside the last monthly billing period. You'd then have to refer Halifax to their terms and conditions in a complaint...
In practice doesn't it have to go by the t&c?0 -
No I don't (and I've checked my paperwork at home too), but if I recall correctly when they launched the Plus account they very much hid the T&Cs away on their website (I'm sure you remember because we were both struggling, but finally found them?). Maybe the definition got lost when the tweaked their website/re-issued them?Do you know of another document with T&Cs?
It wouldn't have been the Enhance T&Cs I read it in, or the others, because I never held those accounts. They do specify "calendar month" for their Enhance, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Premier accounts on their website. http://www.tsb.co.uk/help/rates-and-charges/current-accounts/0 -

The terms linked to by Colsten appear to be (I haven't checked every line) the same as those issued to me by TSB on 9 April 2014. I recall posters searching for the terms at the time, and kept those emailed to me by TSB.
In any case, the word calendar isn't mentioned in the terms I signed up to.0 -
Just checked mine (4 documents emailed on the same date as yourself). as always, my interest has now been paid into my 2x tsbs, has also hit my Lloyds club, my bos accounts, just off to check if the 5ivers have hit Halifax, good night and god bless.0

We have 6 TSB Classic Plus accounts and have been paid interest every month, however this month one account didn't have any interest paid.
All 6 accounts are identical when £500 paid in and out and are all paperless as required.
I rang TSB yesterday and was told they would look into it, after a while my local branch rang me and said she had spoken to their IT people and it was a known bug, something to do with going paperless, she said they were working on a fix for it.
She told me the interest would be paid but in the meantime deselect paperless for that one account and then reselect it, not sure what that achieves, maybe reset the system somehow.
Checked account this morning, still no interest added so will monitor it over next few days.
So if a known bug maybe others should check if interest has been paid, although I guess most do anyway when creaming off to other accounts.0 -
Thanks Richchad, we've also not received interest and were registered for paperless throughout. Guess I'll have to call them too.
ETA: called them and spoke to a very helpful advisor who checked on the system and confirmed, she said we will receive the interest in with next months0 -

Thanks for the update Beckyy, seems odd they aren't going to add the interest until next month as I suspect it has to be a manual input by someone so why not immediately especially as it is their error?
Mine still hasn't been added yet, so guess it will also be next month now then...0 -
She seemed to be filling in a form for it to be paid.
She wouldn't let me do the same on my OH's behalf though so make sure you both get yours if it's just yourself who spoke to them.0
