They use both Experian and Equifax.
This means that a DIP sometimes becomes a 'trip'.I am a Mortgage Broker

Sounds like you are trying to broker this yourself.
If you are even considering a lender like Precise, then you will almost certainly benefit from using a broker and ideally an experienced one.

Precise use one at dip stage (equifax I think) and then experien at app stage - or vice versa.
Would agree in that if you are looking at Precise you need a broker for a few reasons - the main one being is that Precise are usually one stop before the end of the line so it could be possible to get better rates - even with defaults/CCJs.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Last month we placed a deal with Precise that had been rejected by them via another broker so it is never a simple as I like the product, so I will 'buy' it.I am a Mortgage Broker

Thank you ... I have a broker , I was only asking as there is something on Equifax that is not on call credit or experian and just wondered if at this stage should I mention it ....
I have a DIP at present with full application pending.
I've heard that precise are very good but now worried this extra find will bite me in the butt....
Thanks again for your response0 -
I hope your broker is aware of the other issue, as Precise will locate it.
Unsure who told you Precise were good, they are essentially the last but one chance saloon.
They have very flexible adverse criteria, but are incredibly slow and tricky to deal with.
I hope your current broker uses them often enough to try and at least smooth out as much as possible the bumpy journey ahead.
Best of luckI am a Mortgage Broker

As Dave says - this is worrying statement.
Presumably your broker has seen both files before putting you to precise?I am a Mortgage Broker
