Viable excuse?
Land registration has nothing to do with the local authority consents etc, but what the solicitors possibly mean is that they'll send you the full pack once registration is complete. It's normal for consents to be kept with the rest of the title deeds.0 -
OK. So what exactly do you receive once house registered etc.
I have just received a Title information form and Office copy entries.
According to the fixtures and fitting list our sellers enclosed a couple of guarantee documents. They also took out an indemnity insurance.
Should we now have the guarantees back and should we have details of indemnity if for any chance we need to claim, or will this go to the mortgage provider.
Thanks0 -
You should receive it all.
Make a list of all these things and write (yes, pen and paper) to your solicitor asking for the originals.
As advised above, you can always get the PP and Building Regs from the council.0 -

When we bought a house recently we had sight of the fixtures and fittings list when we sat down with our solicitor prior to exchange - and I would have expected the solicitor to chase up at that point if they had said that guarantee documents were included and they weren't.0
