Bought a vacum cleaner from argos, six days ago.can I return it hassle free?

I bought a vax vacum cleaner last week, however I just cant get to grips with it. the suction is so strong, its pulling up my carpet. The quality feels poor, and there is no head for the stairs (its a upright).

Even though I have used the product can I return the product back to Argos tomorrow?

They may offer you a refund as a goodwill gesture, but as the item is not faulty you have no legal rights to one.

I don't know what Argos will do, but I have known that Vax directly has offered a replacement to a friend of mine when they had a similar complaint, so if you don't get anywhere with Argos you could try the manufacturer.
