single dro finished but joint debt
Hi,basically looking for advice.
had a dro that finished about a year ago yey!.
however there was one joint loan on it but dro was only in my name.
husbands been getting letters stating an amount owed for the loan for 18 months now.only twice and they don't ask for money they just say here's what's owed and your in default.
should this be paid or is this normal after a dro?
he checked credit file and just shows as late but nothing else.
were a bit confused.any advice would be great.thanks.

If the loan was in joint names then your husband remains liable for the full amount and can be pursued as such by the lender. It is only your requirement to pay that is removed by a DRO.0
