Credit card and flight delay

I have 2 claims against TAP Portugal

One for 24 hour delay for technical problems and a second for cancelling a flight

They acknowledged the claims but nothing since.

My case has been taken up by UK European Consumer Centre but TAP do not reply to them either

They have referred my case to the Portuguese regulator.

My question, as i paid by credit card, do i have a claim against the credit card company as principal? If goods are faulty, one can make a complaint again credit card issuer

Worth having a read through the MSE guide to Section 75 protection, which does indeed cover misrepresentation or breach of contract for the supply of services as well as goods. Whether either of your scenarios qualifies as breach probably depends on exactly how their Ts & Cs cater for them, together with how they handled the situation (e.g. did they offer an alternative when cancelling a flight) but if you have a genuine claim then yes, your CC company is equally liable.
  • Can you explain the actual circumstances of what happened?

Where were the flights from and to? If they were intra-EU flights and the 24 hour delay, you may be eligible for compensation through the EU-261 Directive. This directive covers cancellations, delays, time changes, re-routed flights etc etc.

There's a handy app on the app store called "Your passenger rights" all about it.
Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
