Android for PC (KitKat) Update 01/01/2015

Just a reminder to folks running this OS on old machines.
I put it on an Eee 901 about the middle of last year. It was buggy, but the new release is very nice.
Downloaded the TuneIn app which works very well. It's nice to have an app to run Internet Radio in.
Unfortunately TuneIn does not have a build for Playbook, so you have to run stations using the browser.
The ISO file is 388mb & you can install it over the old install.
Lots of bugs fixed so it's worth 'having a play'. :T
Well, I managed to upgrade the grub menu to load up Android & then found myself locked out of Android due to the Pin which I knew.
Going to put the machine to one side.
One day......"............
Not that anyone's interested, but reinstalled the OS & the data.img file and things are great.
A decent OS for putting on an old computer.
I am running this Android for PC with Crunchbang Linux. The Linux does take a little getting used to especially when I had to edit the grub menu last year. What takes 3 minutes now took 3 weeks at the time of learning.
The nice thing of course is the access to the Play Store.:)
