Warranties on product replacements

Hi

Hoping someone can help. I bought a hair removal IPL in February last year which blew up last month. I returned to the (internet) seller and got a replacement. Does this new product come with its own warranty and if so when does it start (the leaflet states it has a 12mth manufacture warranty but it is just in the box)?

The warranty runs from the original purchase date.

Unless the manufacturer specifically states otherwise...

You have nothing to lose by asking the retailer for clarification.
