It sounds as if "the company" has not addressed all the debt of your girlfriend's father, or there has been a breakdown in communication between "the company" and his bank.
What did "the company" say when he asked them why he is still getting payment requests from his bank?
Where does the money for paying for his debts come from, where does it get paid to?
What money has he got to pay for his day-to-day expenses (as opposed to for his debts), where does it come from, where does it get paid to, how does he access it?
He should probably go and discuss his arrangements / outstanding debts with someone line https://www.nationaldebtline.org/ or his local Citizens Advice Bureau.0 -
Agree with the first post; go get free debt advice from a debt charity such as CAB, stepchange. You can find local debt advice using the Money Advice Service website's debt section.0

She has tried talking to him but he just shouts saying its being dealt with so we said sod him let him get on with it.
Thanks for the replies.0 -
It obviously isn't being dealt with. Perhaps there is no company and his head is still in the sand?
Or he's dealing with a very unscrupulous company who is taking his money but not paying off his debts (the name of the company would be helpful)0
