Making a scrapbook
My oh will be 70 this year, money at the moment is tight for me so I thought I'd make a scrapbook for him. I've never attempted anything like it before and I've no idea where to start, I have until the middle of June to do it but I really feel I need to start now just so I get it right. Can anyone please shove me in the direction of a website where they give very very very simple instructions or even a magazine that can help. I don't have many pictures or stories about him from when he was young but I'm hoping his sisters might help out.
Any help you can give would be very much appreciated.

Thank you so much Katie that's brilliant, I was out looking at scrapbook albums this morning and it did make me think I can do this, most of them seem to be geared towards females, children and weddings but I'm sure I'll find what I want now I know what to look for.0

There are also free printable backing papers etc available online
Here's what I have found so far:
https://uk.pinterest.com/hafsacreates/free-scrapbooking-card-making-printables-digiscrap/
this one has a choice of car or sports
http://all-free-download.com/free-vector/vector-car/
backgrounds (one I see with tankard of beer!)
http://all-free-download.com/free-vector/free-background-paper-downloads.html
This page (there are dozens of them!) has names and numbers

transport:

There are literally hundreds to choose from
Or you can buy your papers from a craft shop. 12" x12" sheets are around the £1 mark- depends how good your printer is and if you have nice thick paper.
Have fun!Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

I am thinking if you google memorabilia you will get loads of pictures of things for your scrapbook. For example in one of the pages below there are football programmes so it really depends on your OH's interests, job etc
