Had this phone since Nov 13. Always set it to charge overnight and when I wake it's fully charged. Lately though charging has gone funny and only charges about 30% overnight. Very frustrating because it then powers off part way through the day as insufficient battery life. I also noted one day the alarm function turned itself off. Anyone know the fix please?

Havr you tried a different charger / usb lead? Try disabling some apps or even a factory restore (after backing up photos/contacts etc).
I had a rogue app making my S3 run slow, heat up and eat the battery - a reset sorted it.
If you bought it new, & have the receipt/delivery note, if it's faulty, Samsung have 2 year warranty0 -
Chances are that the battery is dying. You can pick up a decent one fairly cheap.0
