I commend you for looking to reward the more helpful members of MSE, but once you look on more than just a few boards you realise that they all have different standards of what deserves a 'thanks'.

On the boards I frequent most often (mainly the 'simply money' boards: credit cards, banking, saving, houses etc), it's rare for even the most useful and helpful posters to have more thanks than posts. Go on the debt-free wanabee board however, or the discussion ones, and you'll find people with 200,000 thanks from 2000 posts. It's quite insane. On some boards you can be thanked 20 times for saying 'Hello'.

It makes me question the value of a 'thanks' (some people will invariably use them to know how much credit should be afforded to that posters comments, or at the very least that they're not a raving lunatic that posts waffle all the time)!

Appreciating that very fact, and also aware that some people "milk" thanks, I undertook a qualitative study of the thanks for the person who'll make the referral and satisfied myself their posts are beneficial and helpful. :)

    Been some changes overnight...
    FlexDirect now £35.
    FlexPlus pulled.
FlexAccount now £75 (could be upgraded once opened, but not sure when and/or if it would affect the cashback?).
