estate agent contract cooling off / change of mind?

Hi, A few days ago I had an estate agent visit my house and signed an agreement to sell the house and gave them a spare key.
I am now re-considering whether to sell or not and just wanted to know my rights. I wasn't given a copy of the contract I signed and not sure if the agent should have left anything with me?
If there is no cooling off cancellation I can exercise, then if I let the agent continue, can I just refuse any offers that come in? Thanks for any info on this.

As you signed the contract in your own home, I believe there should be a 14 day cooling off period. See: http://www.estateagenttoday.co.uk/894-cooling-off-period-stretches-to-14-days-from-friday
But if you decide at any time that you don't want to sell anymore, just tell the EA. They wont waste everyone's time by sending viewers (especially if you're likely to stand in the doorway and say "you can't come in".)
Then, to tidy up loose-ends, just write a cancellation letter to the EA at the appropriate time.
But it's more complicated if you still want to sell, but with a different EA.0 -
ok thanks so quite easy then, just let them know within the 14 days, sooner the better. I have no intention of using other agents, I just don't think I'm going to sell right now..0
