NPower has a long list of customers who know their bills are not 'right' I now doubt the meter readings and the meter!

I think they could within the law have pursued it - for reasons Cardew had suggested earlier - but it would have been morally wrong for them to do so. If you're happy with the outcome / can't be bothered that's upto you but you were promised a hamper so are entitled to get it.

Perhaps you should write again & ask for it or start a thread on it for the Npower rep to respond to ?

never in debt, and switched to another provider , months later, letter saying thank you for your custom, sorry to see you go, however over the last year I have received numerous letters saying I owe £1,920 !!!!, on a key meter!!, after many phone calls, and threats of legal action on both sides, npower admitted it was wrong and apologises profusely , (January 2015) , however it has started again, they have started calling, and yesterday I received a threatening letter, saying I owe the above amount, so now I am going to take this further .They really are a shambles
