have paid off credit card in 2006 with one off payment as requested never heard anything for over 6 months now it has been passed to debt collectors and they want another£780 faxed all info back to them explaining my husbad very sick and they need to deal with me , had no written response from them but they constantly ring his mobile 5/6 times a day any help would be appreciated :j

see the cab who can help you. DCA's are not allowed to harrass you so if you repost on the debt wanabee board someone who be able to elaborate on this0

was through a solicitors of theres but had to pay to capquest debt recovery and its them who are harassing my husband0 -
I would ask your question on the Debtfree Wannabe board, as they know all about the legal stuff to do with debt collectors and unacknowledged debt etc. I think they have a template letter you could send...0

Have a look at https://www.consumeractiongroup.com .Click on customer forums and scroll down to the debt collectors section. Lots of good advice and letters to send to stop the `phone harassment.
