1. Are other rooms in the house at a comfortable temperature or are they too hot?
2. Do you have TRV's fitted to the radiator in the room where the thermostat is located?
3. If you cannot reach 18C in the room above your garage, is the radiator too small or are there insulation/draught issues?0 -
I have the Wocester Wave installed in my static caravan. It's great when traveling to the caravan in cold weather you can turn it on half an hour before you arrive knowing the caravan will be nice and warm when you get there.
I've had a slight problem with the wave. I connect using a mifi dongle and the problem I've found with the wave is that it won't let me connect my mifi dongle with a password which means my mifi is open for everybody's use. For some reason it will not connect with the password allocated with the mifi unit. Anybody know the reason for this ??0 -
We fitted one recently when we renewed a heating boiler at our village hall. This is an ideal application as the operating times can change daily; the temperature requirements can change from session to session and to be able to do this from home is of great benefit. Generally agree with Tallmark's comments.:T0

I am approaching the first anniversary of our installation in our well insulated bungalow of a Worcester Bosch 25Si Combi boiler with Worcester Wave controls. I had decided on this having researched boiler options online, and as we were new to the area, I selected a nearby boiler installer through Worcester Bosch's website - believing that if the manufacturer is happy to list them as an approved installer, they must be ok. The installer was really excellent and I was very happy with the neat and careful installation work.
We have it set using weather compensation (through which I understand in uses several local online weather reports in case one is incorrect). I have spent a lot of time away from home and this has been absolutely superb, not only in controlling the temperature indoors to suit the actual weather but also in providing me the peace of mind to be able to monitor periodically exactly what the indoor temperature is and giving me the ability to increase the temperature during very cold spells to avoid any frozen pipes. It has performed brilliantly and far exceeded my expectations.
Controlling from a smartphone (iPhone) via a free app, I find that 99.9% of the time I reliably connect within about 2 or 3 seconds (even from thousands of miles away) and all works perfectly, first time. We are so pleased we chose to pay a little extra to have this control system - worth every penny.
And if that were not reward enough, I can see from my records & statistics that this boiler is saving us at least 10-15% of our previous gas consumption.0 -
WB only list them as an approved installer because they are a good salesman & fit loads of their boilers, it has nothing to do with whether they are any good at their job, WB neither check or care about how they install the boilerI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
We have just had a new Worcester Bosch 30i installed with a wave. The wave is not working - no lights come - it seems dead. Tried all the connections and the boiler connection etc - nothing - any ideas? Is this a faulty unit or had anyone else experienced this?0
