Got a Combined Parking Solutions ticket :( very angry. Have read through the stickies on the board but tbh it's all fried my brain a bit, plus it seems I can't use the templates etc for CPS? Will be sending a complaint tomorrow to the business who owns the car park but not sure what to do re CPS themseves!? Got the ticket yesterday am so have a bit of breathing space still!
Any help/advice very much appreciated! Sorry for my rookie status :/

As far as I am aware the appeal template in the NEWBIES thread is applicable for all private parking companies. Why do you think it isn't?

As you have read the Sticky thread you know you should not contact CPS until you get the NTK, so you have plenty of time to research this and get it cancelled.
You should also be aware not to reveal who was driving, not even to the landowner.
Once the NTK has arrived you appeal using the template including ALL the points mentioned in it.

  • There's a short list of exceptions under the letter, of which CPS is one - it says to start a new thread if the ticket is from them, so here I am :)
What if they don't bother with an NTK and go straight to the threat letters?! It was a windscreen ticket. I'm no genius, but I thought I was passably intelligent til I started reading POFA and all the rest of it, and now I'm thinking £60 is possibly worth not having to stress about it any more!

if its too much for you , have a look at the paid for service on parking prankster or parking cowboys

forum advice is for those who wish to do it for free, DIY, do it themselves

the paid for service is much cheaper than £60

My apologies. In my defence CPS are not mentioned in the flow chart or mentioned in the shortlist before the template letter, but it was still my mistake for not paying as much attention to the NEWBIES thread as you have. :o

So, appeal now as keeper using the template letter using all the appeal points. If threatogrammes or debt recovery letter arrive you then complain to the DVLA and the IPC.

You are already on the right track by complaining to the landowner but you should appeal to the PPC as well.
