"Failed" Halifax BT happened anyway - now done twice!

If you received the following message when trying to do a balance transfer:
Well if you think the transfer didn't work, you would be wrong.
Halifax have carried out the balance transfer it told me had failed.
Since I tried it again later with a lower value, Halifax have now done two transfers instead of one, and the other card is now in credit by over £1k.
Be aware.

Well if you think the transfer didn't work, you would be wrong.

Since I tried it again later with a lower value, Halifax have now done two transfers instead of one, and the other card is now in credit by over £1k.

Having the same problem with Barclaycard buddy,
2 of my balance transfers that never appears have now appeared and left me in credit on 2 of my other cards.
It's proving a bit of a ball ache at the moment! (See my post - "Overpaid on 2 credit cards")
