If you're not going to use the return perhaps you could sell it on for a profit to one of those people in France that are trying to hide under lorries and come here.
Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Thanks everyone, i will not buy a return ticket then :)

Denmark is expensive, but i'm not going there only to work i'm going to look after someone who is very ill, so i need to stay there. I will have to sort that out when i get there, i might even be homeless when i get there but i will go see the person every day and make sure everything is ok.

If nothing else it will be a adventure :D

Surely the person you are looking after will not expect you to sleep rough?

No, but there is absolutely no other option, she used to have her own flat and everything, now shes in a care place. She gets care sure, but it is "physical" care like change the bed, help to the bath, etc, not "human" care and that is why i am going, she has been bed ridden years now and is starting to go stir crazy, gets very ill with pains, can't go shopping and get what she needs, can't even get to a bank or pay any bills, and nobody else is helping her - even if i have to stay in a shelter with no work i will do this.

I know it is odd, extreme, and the vast majority of people would never do this kind of thing for anyone, i will be giving up my flat, my benefits, right to housing, education, medical, etc etc etc, possibly my nationality too i don't know.

Alright thanks everyone, i will see when i get there of where i can stay and where i can go and what to do i am sure they will have advice centres or similar there.

Make sure you get an EHIC card, and look up the rules for Denmark, there's a country guide tab on the website.

Look at hostels, these are good quality in Denmark and quite cheap.

Take some advice before you go: depending on which benefits you receive and how long you are likely to stay you might not need to give up all your benefits, including those that pay for your flat.

There is no question of giving up your nationality.
