Can't afford car repairs but value too high to be scrapped - any ideas?

    As already asked, what happened to the subframe? Not unknown for middle aged, badly maintained vauxhalls to rot out the subframe due to that stupid VX sound/vibration deadening foam everywhere holding moisture. However did it just instantly become immobile because it failed an MOT or fell down a pothole?
    Get it on eBay with a full and truthful description if you don't want to have it repaired.
