Spud ... the one I use most is at www.quote-engine.com/mortgage-payments-calculator.html ... it is an amortization (?) one, so shows you what the balance will be every month ;):o ... I also use the one at www.smile.co.uk/servlet/ContentServer? ... hope they help :D If not, have a look on the mortgage free board and there is a sticky at the top with loads of them on :D

Thanks for that Benben. DH and I just spent several hours playing with figures, and possible overpayments.

He seems to have had a mini lightbulb moment this afternoon, so we have decided to try and make small overpayments every month. Even £10 per month could save us over £2,000 in interest (we're on a SVR and cant swap to a fixed rate)

Its a great motivator isn't it Spud :D

I've just relisted the wiifit as I haven't heard anything back from them  but I managed to get it on a 24 hr listing this time, so this time tomorrow I should hopefully have a new buyer for it :D

Good luck with getting the wiifit sorted - that £105 would have been fantastic!!

I would love to be able to use the mortgage overpayment thingy, but as my mortgage is about the lowest APR debt we have, and is on a fixed rate, it makes far far more sense to get rid of the other debt first.

But I can't wait until I can make those overpayments once the debts have gone!!! Bring it on!!!

   Ebay rant alert ahead .....

Why are they so @@@@ing useless?? I relisted the wiifit three and a half hours ago and its still not showing up in the searches   I have checked and rechecked by clicking on one of my other items and clicking "se other items from this seller" and it doesnt show up. I checked their "help" pages and it says it can take several hours but the listing time will commence from when it is live on searches, but on the my ebay page it says theres 20hrs 30mins left ... why should we have to pay for a 24 listing that is only really 20 hrs or less?? and by the time it is viewable on there I will have missed the busy sunday teatime viewers
