    Debt-free and Proud!
Is a pain isn't it? I'm sitting here waiting for people to collect logs - were meant to come at 9.30 and 10 - not a sign! I wouldn't care but the damn things are free!
Will have a coffee and then get on with something - can't sit about all day (though of course once I start something they'll all turn up!)

For some reason when I got paid on friday I forgot to move the money across to the mortgage pot. I save €100 from my wages, €20 that was my payrise for this year and €7 which is the amount my electric dd has reduced by. Whacking all this into the mortgage calculator has seen off another month :j :j so now my mortgage is down to exactly 20 years  still a lot longer than I want it to be but reducing much quicker than I could have hoped for :D:D

Brilliant news! What is even more interesting is seeing how much you save by paying a small amount off each month (we are sticking an extra £80 in most months and after 6 months we have saved £5,000 )

Oh piff benben! That is rather impolite of them not to at least give you a time (I mean if they said they would be round at 7 this evening say), I think you are right to give them a jolt up the you know what!
