Hardwall, browning, bonding, sand cement or dot n dab!

Having spoken to builders & plasterers I've had a different opinion from all of them. We have a new breeze and brick extension and wondered what's best for finishing. Apparently I can dot and dab if it's just breeze block cavity wall but shouldn't if breeze and brick or brick and brick? Looks like 'float and set' is the way to go but can anyone offer any advice on what to use for the best. There is one breeze wall. One brick wall and two breeze and brick walls but would ideally just want the same finish. The plasterer who'll probably get work has said hard wall these days is easiest but I'm not neccesarily looking for quickest. Just want it done once. Any advice would be welcome and the reasons why you'd use the different items or methods?

I would normally recommend floating with sand and cement and set with multi plaster. However , if you`ve got a multi service backing with thermolites ( which for a plasterer are horrible ) I would probably dap boards on. Though would use high density boards i.e either fireline or wall board tens.

Ta. There are three walls (which the plaster will be applied) that are thermalites and 1 wall brick which is the old external wall. Is there any reason why you couldn't use hardwall? I'll chat to plasterer about sand and cement but assume hardwall is easier? Should I not be worried about dot and dab potential mould issues that has been highlighted to me?
