is the Noddle credit report accurate, or would I be best signing up for a free trial from either experian or equifax ? thanks.

Do all three0

did the equifax one, it all seems fine to me, except my first direct current account, since i opened it in october its shows up as "not updated" where as my other current accounts all show as "up to date" is this something that needs looking at, or is it normal ? thanks0

I have found Equifax to be more thorough. It shows things the others don't. For instance, payments on DMP show as up to date on Experian and Noddle, but Equifax shows them as DMP payments.
Might be a similar scenario.To Do 2015

If your lender checks Experian and there's a serious error in that file, having checked your Noddle (Callcredit) file won't save you.
From my experience: There were errors in one or more of the files when i checked them a few years ago. And now i've checked them again, and more errors have been introduced in at least two of the files since!0 -
I can only go on my own personal experience but for me Noddle (Callcredit) is the least reliable of the agencies and holds the least of my data.
For me Experian holds the most, but my frustration with them is that it is so tedious to get your statutory credit report and you have to wait for a PIN to be sent to you through the post which can take an absolute age. They need to move with the times and give instant online access like Callcredit (Noddle) and Equifax.
Equifax holds all of the data Noddle shows for me but not as much as Experian. It also hold different data from Equifax as not all companies report to all agencies. So it really is essential to check them all if you are intending, for example, to apply for a mortgage or loan.
Always check all three agencies, I did and found some inaccurate data on mine that needed to be sorted out.
If you sign up for the free trials remember to cancel them or it can work out an extremely expensive way to obtain your data. Personally I just get my £2 statutory report every six months.
Good luck.0 -

I actually used to prefer the paper copy! Could have it to hand when calling the CRAs/credit providers and make notes on it. Maybe I'm old fashioned and I too should "move with the times"?0 -

Hi kemp596,
You should check all 3. No one agency captures all your information and different lenders/services search or report to different agencies.
There is another thread (click here) that is very useful for understanding which agencies various lenders/services search and report to.0 -

Yes, you might as well order a paper copy the amount of time it takes the PIN to arrive. I had to ask for it twice the first time I ordered my file and it took two weeks the second time!
The advantage of ordering the online file for me is that I can keep a copy of the PDF on my computer rather than having reams of paper lying around and if I absolutely need to I can print a copy off.
All down to personal preference I suppose.0
