Draft contract - how long is too long?

Hi all,
First time buyer here, going it solo and starting to struggle with the fact that my house-move knowledge is so limited. I've had my offer accepted on a property, and currently pending final mortgage offer but this should all be okay.
In terms of all things conveyancing, my solicitor has been waiting on the first draft contract from our seller for two weeks now. How long is normal to wait for this stage? Should I be worried?
With this being the first point of contact between solicitors, I'm getting increasingly worried about the rest of the contract negotiations taking forever!
