Is this for Nectar points?0
-
Does this refer to how many points are collected with each shop, or how much they are redeemed for?
I currently have 3750 points, worth £18.75. Will this value drop to £9.37 from 1st Feb? If so, I had better spend them tomorrow!0 -

This explains everything.
What does this mean for you?
What about the points I've already earned?
The points you already have are saved on your card, ready to use as always.
Will this be the same with Nectar partners outside Sainsbury's?
No. This change will only apply at Sainsbury's.
What do these changes mean for me?
If you're a Nectar customer, you'll collect points at Sainsbury's at a rate of one per pound from April 2015, versus two points per pound at the moment.
You can also benefit from lots more bonus events that Sainsbury's are launching after the change, such as 10x points on fuel (that's 10 points per litre of fuel, equivalent to 5p a litre). Sainsbury's will also be running Christmas Double Up events on a wider range of products including toys, entertainment, seasonal, electrical, home & clothing.
Is the value of the Nectar points on my card going to change?
No, the value of points is not changing, You'll still get £2.50 off for every 500 points.
Is there a difference in value of my points between in store and online?
No, they will remain the same.
When is this change happening?
Sainsbury's will be rolling out the changes from 11th April 2015 with new offers over the course of the year. We're letting you know now so that it's clear what changes we're making well ahead of time.
Are Sainsbury's taking points away for reusing carrier bags?
Yes. From 11th April in all Sainsbury's stores as part of a wider review of our Nectar offering to customers.
I am a customer with Sainsbury's Bank. What do these changes mean for me?
Nectar is changing for all Sainsbury's customers, which means that the way our Bank customers collect points when they use their Nectar card in store will change in the future too.
On certain financial products, where Sainsbury's entered into a fixed term, two year Double point promotion with customers, this will continue and will not be changing terms and conditions as a result. Please consult the terms and conditions of your Sainsbury's Bank product, visit the Bank FAQ page or contact the Bank if you have any questions.
* Qualifying spend excludes infant formula, tobacco and related products, spirits and liqueurs, gift vouchers, savings or postage stamps, mobile phone vouchers, phone cards or charity products.0 -
Says 11th April not tomorrow, am I reading it wrong?0

There's a Nectar Boost on Ebay until 31st January - 'redeem your points on Ebay and we'll give you back 50% of the points you convert'.0

Nectar points have always been poor value in my eyes.. even more so now..0
-
The value of the points on your card don't change - it's the accrual rate that is changing (cutting in half). There's no need to rush out and use your points - you're probably better off hanging on to them and then using them in some of the promised promotional periods.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0
