I`ve had so many people trying to tell me different things about this ..
Now that the water has been re-connected, is it safe to bath your kids in it !?
Obviously I know they can`t get it in there mouth, but apart from that - surely it`s safe as the health service would surely be telling us otherwise ??
I`ve had people tell me that theres no way they`ll be bathing there children in it and others telling me that it`s perefectly fine.
Any comments.

Hi Liz
We are in Cheltenham and had our water back on today. We used it to bathe the two older kids (4 and 2), with strict instructions not to put any water or any toys in their mouths, and it was a bath just for washing not for playing so there was no splashing! But we bathed the baby in the sink using bottled water just in case. I know what you mean, everyone is saying different things. I think in Tewkesbury they were told not to bath young children in the reconnected water because the flooding was so bad there. I think we would have been told if the same advice went for us.
Nice to be able to have a shower isn't it - I was so glad to turn on the tap and get water!

We're in Winchcombe. I think the leaflet throught the door said not to bathe the young kids in it, but I agree that's probably because they can get it in their mouths before you know it. I turned to get a towel, and the kitten nearly had some of my bathwater.
So glad to be clean! So hoping it's going to stay on.0 -
We had a leaflet through the door and it said it was fine for bathing.
I took the plunge and bathed my daughter, just keeping a strict eye on her and baths are quick instead of the half hour playtime we have !Debt Free Jan 2010!(Be happy) the state of your life is nothing more than the state of your mind! X:j0
