Being brand new to this lark I can't help but notice my username appears in capitals. I don't mean to shout, I just don't know how to turn the damn volume down A bit of help required please. Please speak slowly and clearly as I think I may be a bit thick. Just tried to change tv channels with the phone.:rotfl:

Hi Silverlady,

You can't change your username yourself.....it has to be done by a member of the team. Usually they only change it if there is good reason, such as it includes your real name or an email address or something else that is likely to give your identiy away.

You can send an email to request that your name is changed to www.abuse@moneysavingexpert.com

The other option is to re-register using a new name.

In the meantime I'll move your thread over to the Site Feedback: Questions & suggestions board where it is more likely to be seen by someone who can help.
