Help with funding for Masters degree

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is any help towards fees for a masters degree?
My niece is due to start her course soon, and her research shows there to be no help available, and I have to say she is usually very thorough but I just wondered if anyone has experience of finance being available for a masters degree. Regards - sally

apart from access to learning funds at individual unis, or career development loans, funding for masters courses is not easy to get hold of. occasionally there are funded places from research councils, but this is usually linked with the person continuing to do a phd......it is, unfortunately, very hard to get!
